Parenting young children can be extremely isolating, especially when parenting a child with emotional or behavioral challenges. Many of our staff are trained Circle of Security Parenting Group Facilitator, and provide structured parenting groups for parents. The group curriculum aims to help parents understand children's' natural patterns of exploration and need for comfort. Group parenting sessions provide a safe and supportive environment where you can share your experiences and learn from others.
Adults often find themselves looking to therapy to address relational issues and to address experiences that interrupt their desires in relationships, work, and wellbeing.Our team will explore the why and how of relating. We will incorporate our years of training to craft an experience that gets to the heart of what you want to better understand and shift in your life. The Cedar House is proud to have the space, expertise, and talent to facilitate meaningful group experiences for children. Drawing on art, music, and movement therapy techniques your children will be led in self expressive and shared meaning making with peers, all while being supported by trained therapists. Yes! We are an in-network provider with CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, and am currently private pay for all other insurance plans. You will be provided with a superbill at the end of every month with a summary of services that you can submit to insurance for potential reimbursement.
If you do not currently have Carefirst BCBS, any services will be billed at an out-of-pocket rate. Rates vary for each provider based on experience and licensing. You will be provided with a superbill at the end of every month with a summary of services that you can submit to insurance for potential reimbursement. Many clients who have Out-of-Network benefits have been able to reclaim between 30% and 90% of their session costs from their insurance.
Service rates are dependant on experience and licensure. Example fee schedule below for therapy services:
Initial 60 - 90 minute assessment: $215-275
60-min therapy session$200-225
45-minute therapy sessions: $180-225
30-minute sessions: $120
Group Therapy: $65 per session, $120 per couple
Our time together is valuable. Please inform your therapist 24 hours in advance if you are not able to make your scheduled session. If you have not notified your therapist in advance, you will be charged the cost of the session. Of course, sickness happens! We will work together on rescheduling your session as soon as possible.
